Xu Chan Dynasty

Xu Can was a famous Ci-poet in the early period of Qing Danasty. There are many research articls on her works, but few are of value. The research on her life is very poor,even some wrong views are copied by a lot of researchers.I will try to give evidence to her year of birth and death, her hyphens,making friends and so on.In addition, I will put Xu Can in the background of Ci's history of female, even in Chinese Ci's history. This essay will aim to do below explanations. Firstly, the renation of Ci's content. Thinking of home is of great value to history of female Ci. Secondly,rich indications and lyric's control.Xu Can's Xiaolings have rich meanings, which is her great achievement. Her works' style is restrained and gloomy. Thirdly,Xu Can and Ci of early Qing Danasty. Xu Can learned from Ci of Bei Song Danasty, not to close to man-writing tradition, but to have the cause of female themselves. Fourthly, I will make judgment on other researchers' evaluations about Xu Can. Especially to compare with other female Ci-poets, I will make an accurate location for her in history of Ci.
