"Guodian Chu Grave Bamboo Slip" has been one of the most important unearthed discoveries in recent years,its literature belongs to the early Confucianist and Taoism."Chengzhiwenzhi" is a representative passage of Guodian Confucian Bamboo Slip,and is a important document of the theory of Zisi with the high value on the field of thinking and literature.Setting it into the vast background of the primitive Confucianism,read the literature detailedly and overall evaluate each kind of information,which will be helpful to realize and understand the theory of Zisi and the clues of the early Confucianism development.The original text of "Chengzhiwenzhi" has many connection and order problems, so this paper review and summarize the research results of academia,then carry out and rethink the scheme starting from joint-groups of the original text,in order to explore a more reasonable order.In this paper,the order is:S4-20 first,then S34-36,S 22-23-21,S29-30,S1-3,S24-28,S31-33,S37-40;according to the way of ordering by group,the sequence is:2,3,9,4(this is same to Mr.Zhou Fengwu' adjustment),7,1, 5,6,8,10.On the question of who is the real author of "Chengzhiwenzhi",academia still has no final conclusion,which not only makes it hard to accurately determain the time and main location of "Chengzhiwenzhi",but also do no favour to further tap its ideological and cultural connotations.Including this article,Guodian Confucian Bamboo Slip is the reflection of Confucianism dissemination in the Warring States times.By inspecting the relationship between Guodian Confucian Bamboo Slip and "Zisizi",the circulation process of "Zisizi",and the relationship between the moral quality of Zisi and the text characteristic of "Chengzhiwenzhi",we can find that Zisi and the author of the article perhaps are the same person.Then test the "Chengzhiwenzhi" slip system and the problem of "heard that it said(闻之曰)"detailedly,from various angles,we can deduce that the author is Zisi.Based on the theory of Kong Zi,the subject of "Chengzhiwenzhi" is pondering the question that in the Warring States tumultuous times how the kings should manage,use the people.When elaborate the importance of the question about "revising oneself(求己)","Chengzhiwenzhi" proposes the distinguishing of "main (本)" and "detail(末)" in the king's administration,which is similar with what "Daxue(大学)"says—"Anyone from the king to the people should revise itself firstly, the main of confusion while details of neat,it is impossible." Moreover,Zisi unifed the theory of "revising oneself" with the theory of good faith.Obviously,this theory is related with "honest(诚)" discussed in "Zhongyong(中庸)".The theory "nature of the sage(圣人之性)"discussed in this article,is actually a higher level of expectation of the author to the kings on the aspect of "revising oneself".In other words,the author hopes that the kings start as "the gentleman(士,君子)",but end as "the sage(圣人)",to coincide with the "Heaven(天道)",thus carry out the kingly politics way well.Furthermore,"Chengzhiwenzhi" ponderes "Yianchang(天常)" and "Liuwei(六位)"relatedly,and unify the "use people(用民)" political practice and the Confucian Heaven-human relation doctrine closely,which coincides with "Yizhuan(易传)",which should be influenced by Kong Zi.As a complete Confucian thoughts theory literature,"Chengzhiwenzhi" has various values.Through the comprehensive inspection of the text,this paper has researched systematically the problem of citing and discussing "Shangshu",the problem of "ru(�')" character presenting in the article,the problem of "the gentleman saying that(君子曰)",and the discussion of the name of this article,and so on,which will deepen the understanding of many related academic question.At the same time,this is also helpful to better explore the inherent academic implication of "Chengzhiwenzhi"."Chengzhiwenzhi" manifestes the early Confucianism' development from Kong Zi to Zisi,which has reflected the state of transition between Kong Zi and Meng Zi, Xun Zi,thus has the significance in the early Confucianism which linkes the preceding with the following.
