Adolescents Psychological Reactance Factor Analysis

This research is to explore the trend of psychological reactance along with adolescent age growing . At the same time , it studies the relations between psychological reactance level of adolescents and personality , parental rearing patterns , family function .Result: There was significant difference between grades and the score of psychological reactance . The psychological reactance level of secondry grade students significantly higher than grade one students , and grade three students' psychological reactance level is significantly lower than that of the graduated grade two students. There was statistical significance of adolescents psychological reactance and different grades; there was statistical significance of adolescents psychological reactance and gender; significant correlation was found between adolescents psychological reactance and their parental rearing patterns . Warmth of parents negatively correlated with the adolescent psychological reactance score. While punishment , rejection and deny of parents positively correlated with the adolescent psychological reactance score. Conclusion Statistical significance of the adolescent psychological reactance score was found between different grades . The psychological reactance level is related parental rearing patterns and sex differences.
