Vocational Art And Design Education "workplace" Practice Teaching Model Study

With the undergoing of national economy reform and the development of the cultural creation industry, a lot of new things have been added to the education of art design in technology institutes, yet, from an overall point of view, still far away from the true essence of art design. The design in technology institutes must be based on solving practical problems. The key to promote teaching effect is to make students capable of dealing with systematic tasks through a period of learning, instead of just drawing and typing as they usually do. Traditional undergraduate–imitation model and undergraduate-condensed model can no longer be fit for the modern art design education in technology institutes. The final consequence of passive education and course education is that the teaching will be far behind the development of economy. The continuous increase of the demand for art designers and the various kinds of jobs provided has made a higher requirement for the cultivation of the talented, thus it seems quite essential to promote the old art design teaching model. Combined with the characteristics of art design education, the education concept in technology institutes, and the creative teaching model, the present thesis is trying to answer the question of how to make students professional art designers, who are not only creative, but also capable of solving systematic tasks single- handed, and can meet the demand of their future jobs, through practice of the"occupation-based teaching model", which may be beneficial for the development of art design education in technology institutes.
