This paper is a systematic comprehensive comparative research on Chinese and Arabian attributes based on summarizing the previous research achievements in this regard. The comparison is conducted in the following six aspects: the definitions for the attributes of the two languages, semantic relations and relative positions of the attributes and their head words, the language units functioning as attributes, the structural marks and the sequence of multi-attributes. Through this well-round careful comparison, predictions for the errors made by Arabian international students when using attributes in Chinese are concluded, according to which key points for testing are pin-pointed, test papers are devised and tests are organized. Then results from the tests are analyzed and verified, from which difficult points for teaching is located and proper suggestions for class are proposed in the last part.Through comparison, six main distinctions between the Chinese and the Arabian languages are detected:a) Arabian attaches same importance to structures and semantic aspects of the language while Chinese does more to the latter.b) There is a certain un-corresponding relationship between Arabian and Chinese attributes in the semantic regard.c) Attributes in Arabian are put behind their head words while they are put before the head words in Chinese.d) Sentences as attributes prevail in Arabian while words and phrases as attributes are common in Chinese and sentences cannot be used as attributes in it.e)"的"is used as an obvious mark for attributes in Chinese with various situations using it, while there is no tangible structural marks for them in Arabian yet structural rules must be observed.f) Multi-attributes in both Chinese and Arabian observe the common basic rule but for they belong to the pre-modifier and the post-modifier respectively, the sequences of them mirror each other. In addition, through error predictions and experimental verifications the relative positions between attributes and head words and the usage of structural mark"的"for attributes are deemed as the tough nuts to crack in teaching how to use attributes in Chinese to Arabian students.
