As the title indicates, this paper focuses on the religion resource for Ultimate Artistic Justice. Artistic Justice here means the righteousness expressed by the ending of story where the kind is well treated and the bad punished. As for ultimate artistic justice, the literary righteousness is realized by the means of religion, or rather, justice is performed by the poetical ending with the help of supernatural power. In the discussion of the religion resource of ultimate artistic justice, this paper take the Chinese ancient stories as the major sample, such as Chinese ancient operas and novels, which offer abundant examples and various forms of extreme poetical righteousness. Moreover, it's also covered how Chinese ancient religions, including Chinese folk belief, provide artistic justice with mines of spirits. It's expected that such fundamental work would be beneficial to the research regarding artistic justice.This paper contains four chapters besides the preface. Preface illustrates the title. Chapter I discusses the resource of ultimate artistic justice on Buddhism and Chapter II on that of Taoism. In Chapter III, the folk belief in China is expatiated. Chapter IV focuses on the synthesis of various religion resources for ultimate artistic justice.
