Cultural Linguistics, Chinese, Korean Proverb Comparative Study

Researching in any point of view,the question,"What is the language?" can't be avoided since the language is closely related to our daily life.Defining the language,you will see it as the characteristic culture and gift of humankind.The language is also crystalloid of all different sound and senses,and a tool for exchange of all thoughts and cultures.In another word,it is especially affecting the culture directly associated with it.A proverb is a kind of language form represents a people.It combines knowledge and experiences together.With the simple and clear sentences,you will see characteristic history,geographical feature,customs,social system,sensitivity and ideas of a people.You will also understand character and value of a people through their proverb while it is continuously growing in their own sound form.This thesis is based on this character to analyze and define it.First,I would like to determine the range of comparison in thoughts of Korean and Chinese proverbs,and relation and characters of them.Comparison in structure, story and expression of them in three different views of point will be next.As growing of economic interchange between Korea and Chinese,the language is getting more critical part of association for it.I would like to provide the opportunity for who may want to study each other's language and understand the interchange of the two countries better.
