Pragmatic Context And Russian Discourse Analysis

Situation is one of the hot topics in the linguistic researching area nowadays. Based on the history and the present situation of the researches on the situation at home and abroad and referring to the situation of the pragmatics, this thesis probes into the pragmatic situation, tries to define it and to interpret its nature as well as its main functions. Since discourse is a kind of specific speech act during the communications in some certain situation, this thesis takes humorous discourses and video ads for example and analyzes them with the theory of pragmatic situation. In short, in combination with discourse analysis, this thesis tries to take research on situation from a new perspective in order to help to get a unified understanding on the situation research.
