Dong Zhongshu is one of the innovative philosophers in Chinese philosophy history and a master of Gongyang theory. He is a monumental figure for the development of Chinese philosophy. His Chunqiufanlu which illustrates the magnificent significance in tiny words of Chunqiu and fully takes in the theories of the philosophers in pre-Qin Dynasty structures a system that bases on the heaven-oriented cosmic ontology at the beginning of Chinese Feudal Times. His thought provides proof for average feudal moral via Yinyang and Wuxing. His theory sets the trace for the development of history taking the cycle of Santong and Sanzheng as the form and revolution by the order of the emperor as the signal, directs the feudal self-development and self-improvement taking Wang-dao as the top goal and Tangwu revolution caused by Heaven-human Interaction as the motivity. The thorough clues in this theory are historic consciousness and moral consciousness and the interaction between them. People search the moral proofs in history and interpret history into a moral one. There is a evaluative rule in either moral history or historic moral. It is the destiny. Although abdication as the alternate regime institution has changed into revolution, the relationship between moral and destiny is a consistent vital element behind the veil of seemingly different alternate regime institution. No moral, no political power. No political power, no destiny. This process is the process of the destiny transfer, so the regularity of history is represented as the regularity of destiny transfer, thus abdication and revolution connect destiny with moral and be the directly stands for the two.
