The thesis summarizes the literary appreciation theoretical views of Hasibao, a distinguished Mongolian literature translator, critic and theorist of 20th century, through in-depth analyses, and generalizes his literary appreciation theories as the Theories of Aesthetic Appreciation. The thesis consists of three parts: Introduction, Main Body and Conclusion.The introduction presents reasons for addressing the topic, the significanceof the topic, textual materials, research status, and research methods. Themain body includes three portions: the historical course of the Theories ofAesthetic Appreciation is explored deeply in the first portion. Besides, thevalue orientation of the theory is concluded from the perspectives of "heartnurturance", "temperament cultivation", and "hatred abreaction". Secondly,categories, functions, horizon of expectations and re-creational functions ofthe subject of aesthetic appreciation are discussed in the second portion.Finally, the third portion not only puts forward the evolution of aestheticappreciation process and methods which embodied in Hasibao's Theories ofAesthetic Appreciation, but also brings up the uniqueness of the appreciationmethods. The conclusion concludes the creative views of the thesis from sixdifferent angles, evaluates the theoretical value of Hasibao's Theories ofAesthetic Appreciation, purposes the deficiencies of the thesis and makesclear the research task hereafter.
