Mate selection is an important psychological, cultural and social phenomenon. From 1910s, the studies about mate selection psychology was increasing and increasing, and made a lot of results in theory and practice. Compared, the research about mate selection was later in our country. At present, with the development of social economy, the change of history and culture, the mate selection psychology of contemporary Chinese has changed a lot, it is impossible that we use west theory. So, this research describes the criteria, behavior and view presently, through testing the west theory, explores the mainland model of mate selection preference of nationality university students.Depending on the Chinese reality, we research the mate selection preference of nationality university students through questionnaire. The research is divided three steps, first, Through the questionnaire material, mate selection to the different disposition type nationality university students to carry on the description statistics explanation by chance .Second step, from the angle of population variable study analysis grade, the sex, the parents culture, the household income and the home education to mate selection influence by chance. Third step, reorganizes to the questionnaire material, the rejection population quite few nationalities, retain the Han Nationality, the Hui tribe, the Uygur national minority and the Mongolian national minority, and examines the different national culture and the manners and customs to mate selection influence by chance. This research obtains main conclusion:(1) Internal and external to the personality of the national college mate at the socio-economic status, Integrity sense, temperament, personality and temperament dimensions there are significant differences.
