Huang Zunxian Outbound

While studying Huang Tsun-hsien ,experts in academic circles always concentrate on his poems, ideology, his relationship with the Hundred Day's Reform, etc. But nobody studied his traveling, especially his outbound tourism. However, his outbound tourism is the very important aspects in his life experience. During the 12 years as an oversea diplomat, he wrote a lot more poems than other people. Which equals one-thirds of his life-time poems. His short life can be divided into two stages. Before he went abroad, he had to struggle for Imperial Examinations. After he went abroad, he became a leader of the Reform. Therefore, while he went abroad, his life path gradually changed. He were deeply impressed by the foreign scenery, modern civilization and different political system. So he put"Innovation"in his poems. He wrote the things he was never seen, he spread newly western knowledge. It makes his outbound poems unique and splendid.In this dissertation, Huang Tsun-hsien's outbound trip will be focused. His background of speical times, society, family and his personal experience will be discussed. His poems and other materials will be used to analyze the reason of his outbound travelling trace.
