During his 20-years career of a director, Zhao Banggang in one hand follows the commercial mode of directorial operation and aims at the mass market; on the other hand, he never stops the innovation, transformation and breakthrough on his multi-cultural style and emphasizes the the innovation of TV play series. His progress put the characteristic of aesthetic and art to a new level.By the virtue of a strong personal style and artistic characteristics, Zhao Baogang achieves a valuable brand of Chinese idol drama in China. His achievements contribute a lot to the industrialization of Chinese films and teleplays fields. The dissertation mainly holds the opinion that prosperous as the mass culture it is today, Zhao Baogang's work, in fact, has formed a unique culture style, which should attract more attention of the academic community. In facing with the fierce competition, Zhao Baogang's TV series introduce an open point of view and play an important role in local idol drama creation and future development.This dissertation mainly focus on the analysis of Zhao Baogang's poetic performance, artistic content and personal characteristic which co-exsited in the business-oriented mode, as well as its significance and progress to our times. The significance of which will inspire the idol series in China and other related types of work and promote the commercialization and development of Chinese television market.
