Cultural Heritage In Real Preliminary Study

The research of this thesis began with the concern of the problems which occured in the construction of Cultural Heritology. The problems consist of five aspects,1.unestablishment of subject and dependence of discipline; 2.indeterminate self-recognition of subject; 3.undefined field of study; 4.absence of basic theory; 5.insufficiency of specific methodology. From the deeper analysis, the incorrect "Ming-Shi" (signifier-attribute) connection of "cultural heritage" is the radical cause that restrained the theoretical construction and practical development of Cultural Heritology, the discrepancy in definitions of the term "culture" is the cardinal cause of the incorrect "Ming-Shi" connection, and the different understanding on the form and status of "being" can be regarded as the source of the cognitive confusion of "culture".Based on the Universal and Ming-Shi theory, the thesis discriminated the relationship among cultural heritage, intangible cultural heritage and culture. In the end, the thesis obtained a defined knowledge about the concept and attribute of cultural heritage, which has the significance of "starting point" of the basic theory of Cultural Heritology.
