Development Study, Based On The Location Quotient In The Central Plains Culture Industry

Since as early as in the sixties and seventies of the 20th century, the Western developed countries have already started to research and develop the cultural industry. Today, more and more countries develop economy to promote "hard power", at the same time, they also start to plan,promote and develop their culture industry. Cultural industry in developed countries such as the US,France,Britain,Japan and so on have already become a driving wheel of economic growth.The development of cultural industries not only promoted the growth of their economies, but also enhance the "soft power" which countries participate in the world competition.Facing the trend of world cultural industry development, Chinese cultural industry has been rapidly developed in recent years. However, Central Plain cultural industry located at Henan province is basically still in the initial stage of development in beginning,exploring and nurturing. First, this article reviews the status of cultural industries and the theory of advantage industry research, according to the characteristics of regional culture to find the characteristics of the Central Plains culture, we accurately locate the scope of cultural industries in Central Plains, and divide the Central Plains culture industry into the characteristic culture industries and the general cultural industries. Here general cultural culture industry refers to the non-characteristic culture industry. Characteristic culture industry includes martial arts entertainment,cultural tourism,performing arts and media publishing; General cultural industry includes heritage and museums exhibition,film and television animation,artwork and creative network.. Characteristic culture industry not only produces a general feature of regional economic development, but also has the special function which adapts to the regional economic development. General function will draw support from the entire social's cultural industry form to promote regional economic development, special function will play a driving role in regional economic development.Second, under the theory's guidance of industrial economics,development economics and regional economics, we establish a index system of identifying and selecting regional competitive industries according the culture resources in Henan province, select data for the year 2001-2008 as a support, using statistical yearbook data recent years, analysis of the use of normative and empirical analysis, quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis of a combination of research methods, we obtain drama performing arts cultural tourism and media publishing's location quotient greater than 1. Based on this, we construct a model empirical to test this conclusion, it shows that the characteristic culture industry play a special role in Central Plains culture industry, and also shows that the advantage industries are often rooted in the characteristic industries.Finally, basing on the analysis of development in Central Plains Cultural industry, we explain the advantages and disadvantages of the Central Plains cultural industry. The superiority mainly manifests in:Culture resources superiority,location superiority,market superiority and its potential advantages. The shortcomings mainly manifests in:①The cultural industry management pattern is backward and investment channel is single;②Cultural industry pattern taking shape, but generally small-scale, low industrial concentration;③The culture industrial structure is imbalanced;④Lack of cultural industry professionals. For the problems and advantages in the development of the Central Plains cultural industry, we propose a strategic layout and some advance about the development of Central Plains cultural industry, for giving reference to develop the Central Plains cultural industry.To develop Central Plains cultural industries has a great significance on the rise of Central Plains culture and Central China.
