National spirit is the motive power for a country and also strengthens the Cohesiveness of ethnic. Chinese Nation has got its great national spirit in thousands years. This spirit has encouraged Chinese people come forward when it matters the fate of our nation for generations. In the current complex situation at home and aboard, carry forward and cultivate the national spirit is important in ideological and Political Education. How to cultivate national spirit effective has become a hot topic in academia。Moral Education in ancient China plays an important role in cultivating talents for society, promoting the economic development and maintaining political stability. So the moral education in ancient China is undoubtedly a success. The essences of China moral education are benevolence and propriety. The important channel to acquire this essence is self-cultivation, and the main method is moralization. As its know to all, there are some common characteristics and similar aim between cultivate the national spirit and the ancient moral education, besides, they have a similar socio-cultural background. Because there is no class in methods, so take the ancient moral education way by example to cultivate the national spirit is feasible. The point in this paper is funding.The first part of this thesis talks about the Chinese nation:the important significance of cultivating national spirit is concluded in this part through introducing the concept and characteristics national spirit, the specific content and value of the Chinese national spirit and the specific requirements of cultivating national spirit. The second part first introduces the ancient morality education and theoretical basis, then expounds the related information of ancient morality education method to prepare for the following contents. The third chapter is the focal point of the full article, the feasibility of this thesis is obtained through analyzing the connection both of them. The enlightenment of cultivating national spirit at this stage is worked out adopting contrastive analysis method:for example, from the general to the example, training moral sentiment method and self-discipline method.This article attempts to provide effective methods and ideas for cultivating the Chinese national spirit from the angle of ancient morality education method.
