It can be seen that choose the able and virtuous person is the most important thing. The system of public servants is a doorsill which is necessary for choosing excellent people who can enter the government and it can insure the quality of public servants. How to control the doorsill, choose the excellent people is this paper to study about. The comparative studies of system for civil service examination compare the system of different countries and regions. It reveals the nature and trends of development of the civil service examination system, in order to provide inspiration and reference for the system of civil service examination'development and improvement.First of all, I basic conduct overview of the civil service examination which concludes its definition, feature and historical evolution. Then I analyze the current status of the civil service examination. Not only confirmed the results of implementation of the scheme, but also put forward the shortcomings which are obeying reality. Such as the mode of the examination is very single; the contents are lack of scientific; so many human factors in it; supervisions are not be completed and so on. Secondly, Compare various aspects of the civil service examination system and analyze the strengths and weaknesses, explore the suitability of this model. Firstly our current civil service examination is similar to France's slave-based management system in management system. Secondly our policy is a post test in the examination procedures. It compared the qualifying examination in the West which is fixes our current civil service examination. Thirdly the examination method and content of the Western is more comprehensive than our country. The testing and hiring methods can demand the good public officials of Western countries.Comparing finished, put forward the sercive examination system for the reasons for differences in addition to the national political, economic. For different reasons, the most fundamental reason lies in its cultural context. The formation of values ant test different ideas. This traditional legacy "bureaucracy-oriented" and "human" thinking of a short time is difficult to remove, so we can also improve the civil service examination system of the scientific and standardized, making the system more closely, so that these legacy down bad ideas do not workable space.Finally through comparing analysis of the above-mentioned reference to foreign pros and cons of the civil service examination system; combining with the first part of the article discussed; exploring the new ideas of civil service examination system under suitable conditions in our country; putting forward some constructive suggestion. Such as completing the external nature of the testing methods,the diversity of the testing methods and the scientific of testing content; establishing the office's qualification; improve the supervision system methods. This testing method completes our existing civil service examination system; reduces the impact of human factors as much as possible and selects the talent in maximum.
