Analysis Of Contemporary Chinese Grass-roots Legitimacy

Political legitimacy is an important topic and a core concept of the political science, every modern country must be faced with the problem. Political legitimacy is the voluntary support, recognition and obedience of public people which based on their own rational judgment about the political power and political domination. To the political governance of any forms only when the people admit and accept the rule, political legitimacy can be obtained. The voluntary identify support and obedience of people about with the power system is the foundation and the basis content for political legitimacy. If anyone political system can obtain the identity and the support from the public so as to lower the ruling cost and contribute to the political order. On this ground, political legitimacy is not only the foundation of political system sustainable and development, but also the prerequisite for the system and society to safeguard its stabilization and development. It must study and consolidate its legality for anyone political to safeguard its presence and development.Chinese fundamental regime is the most basic level in all levels of political system in our country. It is the foundation of the system and has a direct impact on Chinese success of fundamental regime, the survival of the whole political system. At the present stage, Chinese society has come in the period of social transformation and the modernization promoting comprehensively. With the development of the social economy and deepening of the reform, the economic achievements of the political power gradually can not take the main responsibility of constructing the power legitimacy. People's sense of identity in Chinese fundamental regime gradually decreased. The political power of the fundamental regime faced crisis. On this basic, the study on how to maintain and strengthen the political legitimacy of Chinese fundamental regime effectively will be necessary and helpful to keep the stability of the political and build"a harmonious society".Based on political legitimacy theories, the paper is intended to make a comprehensive study on political legitimacy of Chinese fundamental regime. The logical framework of the article is from the abstract to the concrete, from the theory to the practice, then inducting and summarizing the practice, drawing a final conclusion.The paper is divided into five parts. The fifth chapter suggests some advises about how to maintain and strengthen the political legitimacy of Chinese fundamental regime at the present age, guided by the status of modern fundamental regime and the principles of our political legitimacy construction.
