Research On The Reform Of Management System Of Railway Station In China

At present, there are more than 20 railway stations in metropolises in China. As a traffic hub,region of railway station is playing a decisive role, shuttling passengers across the country. However, due to some factors like location and marketing, region of railway station, suffering from a variety of chaos, destroying social order, imperiling passengers’ safety, becomes the focal point in administrative management, which is the primary cause of this paper.Because of the rare research on revolution of administrative system in region of railway station, we try to optimize countermeasures and suggestions by focusing on one specific example: Beijing West Railway Station, through reference, investigation and comparison. Firstly, we reorganize the theory of governmental functions and the new theory of public service, and analyze their inspiration on revolution of administrative system in region of railway station. Secondly, the main characteristics of region of railway station are concluded, by analyzing the administrative demands of region of railway station from four perspectives: administrative goal, content, subject and range. Thirdly, the administrative system is divided into seven kinds of models, which are compared to sum up advanced experience. Finally, the general situation, current characteristic of administrative system and open questions in Beijing, a particular case, are discussed.Based on former analysis, comparison and discussion, the overall trend of region of railway station in metropolises is explored, and suggestions on revolution of administrative system of region of railway station are proposed.
