In this social environment, social work agencies of government purchasing service way into urban community to carry out the community services, to a certain extent, meet the demand of the urban elderly vulnerable groups spirit culture, the city community old people welcomed. Visible, based on the method of social work intervention in spiritual and cultural demand urban elderly vulnerable groups problem is has stronger practical value and theoretical significance.Based on the spot bamboo garden R community of Chengdu as investigation object, take the literature research, field interviews, questionnaire investigation, quantitative analysis and other methods, respectively from the mental state, interpersonal communication, cultural entertainment and self-realization four aspects to analyze the loyalty and the spiritual and cultural demand status of community elderly vulnerable groups, describes the community service R community to carry out the elderly vulnerable groups, on the basis of this puts forward the problems existing in the elderly vulnerable group community service, and analyze the causes of these problems, finally put forward some social work intervention in urban elderly vulnerable groups spiritual and cultural needs of reflection and criticism practice.This paper is divided into four main parts:The first part(chapter Ⅰ):First introduced in this paper, we study the background and significance of research; Secondly introduced at home and abroad and the present popular trend of three kinds of pension, and clarify the thesis research methods and theoretical perspective, finally, the paper involves the elderly, the vulnerable groups, to define the concept of the spiritual and cultural demand.The second part (chapter Ⅱ and chapter Ⅲ):chapter Ⅱ from the emotional needs of the elderly vulnerable groups, city development demand and value demand three aspects of urban elderly vulnerable groups respectively spiritual culture were summarized, Chapter Ⅲ, based on this, advances the R community to carry out the problems existing in the elderly community service.The third part (chapter Ⅳ and chapter Ⅴ):chapter Ⅳ analyzes the social work intervention in urban elderly vulnerable groups’ problem, the feasibility of spiritual culture demand. Chapter Ⅴon the basis of the empirical study analyses the current R community spiritual and cultural needs of the elderly vulnerable groups, and secondly the civil service center, the elderly spiritual and cultural demand of case analysis, detailed understanding of R community for elderly community services and the effect.Part Ⅳ (chapter Ⅵ):on the basis of R community to carry out the urban elderly community service effects and problems, put forward the social work intervention spiritual culture demand reflection on the practice of urban elderly vulnerable groups, based on the community in the community area to carry out the elderly community services, professional set up fitness entertainment and voluntary service of community self-organization, attaches great importance to the subject of community resources integration, attaches great importance to the community material resources, organization resources and the integration of human resources, improve the enthusiasm of the elderly to participate in community activities and understanding of spiritual and cultural needs, social work agencies to innovation community service ways and means, Social workers should play the role of policy advocates etc.
