A Study On The Social Old - Age Security Of Migrant Workers In The Elderly

The social pension security system is the basic system of a country and it is also an important part of the social security system. The purpose of pension insurance is to protect the basic living needs of the elderly, providing a stable and reliable source of livelihood. Therefore, it is related to people of the whole community’s happy old age with an extremely important significance to the elderly. Elderly migrant workers is an important part of the whole society of the elderly, and because of its specificity, the social pension of the Elderly migrant workers is more worthy of our attention and research.Elderly workers are mainly from the first generation of workers at the start of reform and opening up, walked over 30 years, and they have to know the fate of the year. Because of the low income, leaving their native land and other reasons, the majority of them are not enjoying their later years in the city, but chose to returning to their countryside. As the first generation of migrant workers stepping into old age, their pension problem must be put on the agenda. The "overage" working life, the bitterness and the upcoming pension dilemma, this special group should enter into our field of vision. On the basis of the collection, presentation and analysis of available information, this paper analyze the problem of elderly migrant workers’ social security. This paper also analyze the current pension system with its shortcomings from reality and discuss how to build a social old age pension system for elderly migrant workers.
