Border multi-ethnic community refers to is located in the frontier contains two or more than two mummified ethnic community, community culture is characterized by diversified characteristics of the coexistence of the national culture. Border multi-ethnic community over a long period of time the national communication, exchanges and integration, not only to promote the formation of the big family of diversity in unity of the Chinese nation, and realize harmonious coexistence in the unified multinational country. However, there are some separatist forces and a few sinister attempt to break the harmony of the situation, to create trouble from time to time, in an attempt to stir up ethnic conflicts, undermine social stability and unity and reunification of the motherland. Therefore, in the new era, the new situation, common for the Han and minority people pay more attention to the characteristics and acceptable way to accept the audience, to strengthen national unity education to safeguard national unity, social stability, national unity has very important significance, but also will is a long and arduous social engineering. Frontier multi-ethnic community because of its special geographical location and the reality of the situation to carry out multi-ethnic coexistence has become the focus of national unity and education areas. This paper reviews the cultural frontier refined symbiotic harmony in multi-ethnic communities in the formation of long-term development and to identify with the contemporary educational meeting point of national unity, in order to achieve harmony of modern innovative symbiosis of traditional culture inherited convert national unity education, enhanced national unity and effectiveness of education.This thesis consists of five parts. The first part is an introduction, describes the cause and significance of the topic, literature review, research ideas, methods and innovation. The second part is a multi-ethnic community of the frontier state of education overview of national unity, respectively, from the meaning and significance of national unity, education, responsibility and point to multi-ethnic community of contemporary frontier ethnic unity education and contemporary frontier ethnic communities exist mainly ethnic unity education issues were discussed. The third part of the multi-ethnic communities frontier symbiotic harmony of content and value of traditional culture study describes a multi-ethnic community frontier symbiotic harmony basic content of traditional culture and multi-ethnic communities frontier symbiotic harmony spiritual values of traditional culture. The fourth part of the traditional and contemporary cultural content of national unity education symbiotic harmony frontier ethnic communities were analyzed and compared in order to identify both fit the characteristics, namely: environmental symbiosis, the subject of communion and spiritual prosperity. The fifth is to promote a multi-ethnic community symbiotic harmony frontier traditional cultural heritage in order to achieve a multiplier effect of national unity education proposals: Border and ethnic communities symbiotic harmony traditional cultural resources should be more ways to enter the national unity education; combined requirements of the times, to achieve multi-ethnic frontier community symbiotic harmony traditional cultural heritage of innovation.
