In the 1990 s, after the end of Cold War, the bipolar structure collapse, on the one hand, people get out of the threat of intense political and military confrontation, on the other hand, non-traditional security issues have become outstanding, people began to change the traditional concept of security, extended from the "high politics" field to "low politics" field, caring more about people’s safety and international cooperation governance across national boundaries. Immigration is an important aspect in the field of non-traditional security. In the era of globalization, migration has become an unstoppable trend, hundreds of millions of people across borders, which formed the impact to national boundary, the major countries around the world are facing the population outflow and inflow or flowing through three coexist in the form of population ecology. At the same time, the illegal immigration is also becoming a increasingly serious problem, bring challenges and threats to national security.Since the reform and opening-up, especially in past twenty years, China is no longer a pure origin countries, to some extent also became illegal immigrants transit country and destination country. In this background, this article obtains from the perspective of non-traditional security to look into entry of illegal immigration, analyses the particularity of illegal immigration problems in China, and take China and North Korean’s border, Guangzhou, China and Myanmar’s border as case studies, discusses how the issue of illegal immigrants influence our national security, and by analyzing our country’s management of illegal immigration and the practices of western developed countries related management, the author puts forward some suggestions for the future governance of entry illegal immigration.
