A Study On The Social Security Of Urban Immigrants From The Perspective Of Social Stratification

With the development of the new urbanization, more and more rural population will search job on the city. Due to the obstacles of system and mechanism and regional administrative barriers, urban migrants made great contribution to urban prosperity, but are unable to enjoy the service and guarantee. In addition to 260 m, more and more urban migrants will work in urban,it makes itself a very serious problem of urban social security is more prominent. In this paper, the social security needs of urban immigrants as the starting point, to find the most concerned about the security needs of urban migrants based on the investigation. Analysis the main reasons for the current plight of urban migrant’s social security, to solve the problem of social security of urban immigrant groups from several aspects, such as set up a series of corresponding laws and regulations and a rational Social Security System, and develop the social security-style civil common wealth organize. Gradually make urban migrants have the same social rights as the local residents.In this paper, from the perspective of social stratification, from the nature of the original residence and the education level of the two dimensions, analysis of different and the same social security dilemma faced by immigrant groups. No matter which group the urban migrants belong to, they show dissatisfaction with living in the present, and higher evaluation of hometown. There are great differences between different immigrant groups in many aspects, such as psychological identification, network security, children’s education, living conditions, social rule of law. The main factors that affect the social security of urban migrants are environmental pollution and low income.Urban immigrants take various ways and means to meet their social security needs. One of the two main ways are self help, is to ask an acquaintance for help. In the way of self satisfying security, leisure entertainment and consumption are the most common two ways. Urban immigrant groups generally choose to talk to relatives and friends, in the process of talking to get comfort. Generally tend to reveal their voices to acquaintances not others, like NGO, trade union or party organization.In fact, there is a huge demand gap in the aspects of public security, urban integration, living conditions, occupation security and so on. If we can’t meet their social security needs, would harm their interests. So we need to adjust the current public policy. Guarantee the basic needs of urban migrants should abandon discrimination; we need to provide the equalization of public services. We need protect the basic rights of urban migrants according to the law. Establish a social security system covering the whole population. Establish a more specialized, professional social organization, to help solve the security needs of urban immigrants. Breakings solidify class structure, to promote social mobility, and to provide a longitudinal flow channels for urban migrants.
