The judicial credibility is the ability of the main body of public power and the public to obtain the trust in the judicial activities. In the critical period of strategic opportunities, the development of contemporary China is faced with opportunities and challenges. The judicial credibility crisis has become a key and difficult problem that has been focus of national attention, academic concern, social hot debate, the focus of public concern. Although China’s justice is constantly in progress, the credibility of the judiciary is still a problem. The first part is to define the relevant concepts of the judicial credibility, including the judicial, credibility, the credibility of the judiciary, rule of law, and focus on the distinction between the following two of the concept that the judicial credibility and judicial authority, judicial credibility and judicial justice. The constitution of the public trust, including the inner and outer constitution of the judicial credibility. The judgment standard of the judicial public trust, including whether or not to be satisfied with the public. The second part includes the historical origin and practical significance of the judicial credibility, the historical origin from the two aspects of China and the west to describe the practical significance of the comprehensive construction of a well-off society and the overall impact of the rule of law. The third part includes the performance and reasons of the lack of judicial credibility in our country. The fourth part is about the countermeasures to improve the credibility of the judiciary.
