Egyptian Muslim brotherhood(MB) is the most influential religious political organization of Egypt and the Middle East in the 20 th century. In 2011, the Arab Spring swept across Egypt, forced the fall of the Mubarak regime. Then “Freedom and Justice Party” win the presidential election under the leadership of Morsi, hence MB would succeed to the center of Egyptian political arena. However, the ascendancy of the Muslim Brotherhood is just a flash in the pan. Morsi was ousted by the Egyptian military on the occasion of the first anniversary of his ruling. Why Morsi regime collapsed in a year? What’s the future and prospects of MB? This thesis is trying to sort out these problems. The thesis analyzed the decline of MB regime from the leaders, national, regional and international factors. Although MB appears on the political front through democratic elections, and trying to take the cooperation path and peaceful dialogue. But it has proved the limitation of non-violent way, which lack of long-term political reconciliation and stability; Islamic Revolution of Iran is certainly worth learning, but for the violent revolution MB is not ready. Take the contrarian fight to violent revolution, or take advantage of the cooperation to achieve a political reconciliation, is the major strategic decision in front of MB.
