The Current Situation, Problems And Countermeasures Of Contemporary Chinese Women 's Participation In Politics

In today’s world, more and more women play an very important role in the international arena, and the political status of women has been greatly being promoted. And at the same time, there are more and more experts beginning to pay much attention on the political rights of women, and the woman’s political participation in the international community are booming in the world. In China, since the reform and opening up to the outside world, our country pays more and more attention to the woman’s rights and interests, and the thought of equality between men and women has been listed into the constitution as a national policy, which has gradually put an important impact on easing the traditional false thought of men are superior to women. And the social status of women has made unprecedented progress.Through the reference of the books, journal articles, P.h.D., and the graduate students’ papers related to the thesis of the political participation. And referring to a large number of data on woman’s participation for nearly fifteen years(2001‐2015) At the same time, I have ask the teacher for their advice, and has carried on the discussion with them on the feasibility of the paper and the significance of the research.Through the analysis of the related data and books, the author thinks that since the reform and opening up to the outside world, contemporary Chinese woman’s participation in politics obtained the considerable development, woman’s participation, their participation rates, the levels of participation and participation efficiency sense has been significantly improved. However, contemporary Chinese woman’s political participation is not perfect. Due to historical tradition, woman’s own quality, woman’s education degree, comparing to the number of men officials, the proportion women is still small, and levels of participation is also low.At the same time, the author has analyzed woman’s political participation in the present situation, and existing problems in the participation,and also other reasons were analyzed. From the prospective of the national law, policy, investment in education and the theory study in the political participation, the author puts forward the measures to improve the contemporary woman’s political participation. Among the measures to improve the contemporary Chinese woman’s participation in politics, one of the most important point is promoting the sense of fair education between sex, which is a spotlight in the paper.The author put forwards some ideas and advice on solving the problem on woman’s political participation through the study on the current situation of participation, problems faced by women in politics and also the causes of these problems. And the author hopes that this paper can attract the interest of the majority of scholars on the contemporary Chinese woman’s participation in politics, and also hopes to be able to promote the continuous development of the contemporary Chinese woman’s participation in politics.
