Firstly, this paper describes the theory of knowledge management,such as the definition and classification of knowledge, knowledge capital,core competence, the definition and core and history and principle and tools of knowledge management. With knowledge economy抯 coming, knowledge 4 management will cover the whole economic domain ,and help the enterprise break away from the limit of financial capital and nature resource to gain new competition predominance. Therefore, the knowledge management has powerfi.tl vitality and capacious developing future .It抯 practically significant to study enterprise knowledge management Secondly, this paper studies the experience of Hewlett-Packard on knowledge management,including enterprise culture,customer knowledge management, enterprise intranet and next generation workplace upbuilding . With the utility of the theory that author learned during MBA study ,for instance, management,human resource development, organization behaviour,information management and strategy management,this paper analyzes and evaluates the knowledge management of Hewlett-Packard,and gets the advantages and disadvantage of it. In the mean time, this paper also analyzes China Hi-technology enterprise ?status quo and problem. Referring to Hewlett-Packard抯 knowledge management, this paper puts forward the guildeline method of implementing knowledge management. Hope this paper could help to avoid frustrating when China enterprise implement knowledge management.
