Third-generation Cpc Collective Leadership To Maintain The Strategy Of The One-china Principle

Guided by dialectical materialism and historical materialism, this paper studies the third generation collective leadership of the Communist Party of China who has formulated the policy of 揙ne China Principle? shortly before and after the Cold War according to the changes of the situation at home and abroad. It also summarizes the policy in theory. This paper will take up the following three questions one by one: The first section focuses on the forming process of 揙ne China Principle?and studies the complicated situation wound Cold War. By doing so, it shows how the policy came into being, it emphasizes on the fundamental meaning and its distinction and connection with the specific meaning, and it analyzes the complex circumstances in the face of the principle since 1 990s. This section provides the third generation collective leadership with policy background to maintain 揙ne China Principle.? The second section researches the general and specific policies worked out by the third generation collective leadership to maintain the principle from the angles of politics, military affairs, culture and diplomacy. In studying the developing process of the policies to Tai Wan, combining specific historical documents and historical facts, I analyzes the One China Principle in all-around way. That is: in politics, it is highly principled and tactfi.il; in military affairs, it prevents Taiwan~ s independence and promotes the unification by force; in economics, by improving the development of economics, it accelerates that of politics; in the communication between Taiwan and the mainland, it focuses on improving the governmental contact by non-governmental contact. In diplomacy, blocking off and striking Taiwan administration抯 pragmatic diplomacy in an all-round way and dealing with America抯 interference in China domestic affairs by dual tactics. The third section proves that One China Principle by the third generation collective leadership is the new development of Marxism抯 universal truth in the sacred task of unifying China. Its main content is: emphasizing One China Principle and grasping the major contradiction between Tai Wan and the mainland; protecting the interests of the people in Tai Wan and developing the mass viewpoint of Marxism; using the development of economics to promote the development of politics and playing the decisive part of the economic basis to the realm of superstructure; insisting on One China Principle and combining the steadfastness of the principle with the flexibility of the tactics in theory and practice...
