Comparison Of The Thinking Of Mao Zedong And Deng Xiaoping's Modernization

How did the backward countries in economy and culture realize their socialist modernization and what kind of moderanization did they build after the success of revolutions are the significant questions in the theory about socialist development. The studies about these questions have the profound theoretical value and practical value. Botho Mao Esetung and Deng Xiaoping are the theorists and practitioners of the socialist modernization of China. The comparison between the modernization thought of Mao Tsetung and that of Deng Xiaoping and the study about them have the great practical or immediate significance for us to build the socialism of China. Therefore, under-the guid ance of Marxism and With the Stand, viewpoint and method of, historical materialism, I compare the modernization thought of Mao Tsetung with that of Deng Xiaoping and study them. This paper includes three parts:First, Discussing the origin and social and historical conditions of the moderniztion thought of Mao TSetung and Deng Xiaoping. including the mordernization theories and practice of the Marxism桳eninism writers of Classics; the curse of the modernization thought in our country; the international and domestic conditions of Mao Tsetung and Deng Xiaoping抯 modernization thoughts. These are the presumption of the comparison and study in this paper.Secondly, Comparing the thought of Mao TSeturg With that of Deng Xiaoping, mainly inluding the connotation of moderniztion; the motive force of the development of modernization; the dependent force of modernization; the model of modernization, etc. These are the emphasis ofthe comparison and study in this paper.Finally, Discussing the conclusion which/that draw from the comparison between the thought of Mao TSetung and that of Deng Xiaoping. From that, we can learn that the road of socialist modernization is long and rough, the moderz醫ion thought of Deng Xiaoping is the succession and development of the Mao Tsetung抯. Therefore we can have an overall view about Deng Xiaoping?s theory. That is, Deng Xiaoping抯 theory is the contemporary Marxism. These are the innovations of this paper.
