Deng Xiaoping's Reform Methodology

ABSTRACT The scientific reformatory methods which correspond to reality is of great significance for the success of reform .The reformatory experience and lesson from home and abroad indicate that, although the reformers in one country have a correct knowledge about reformatory nature, aim and direction etc, the incorrect reformatory methods which don抰 correspond to reality frequently lead to setback down to defeat. Comrade Deng Xiao-ping fully recognize these. The exposition about reformatory methods in his works, especially the design on Chinese reform and the practice of his leading Chinese full reform, are an excellent composition. Based on the illustration of the theoretical and practical origin of Deng Xiao-ping reformatory methodology, this article will detailedly discuss Deng Xiao-ping reformatory methodology?fundamental content and main features, and objectively analyse its momentous significance, reflecting Deng Xiao-ping抯 wisdom from one aspect . At the same time, we must realize that in order to get reformatory success in future, one hand, Chinese reform must be under Deng Xiao-ping reformatory methodology抯 guidance, on the other hand , we must bring forth new ideas and develop on reformatory theory including reformatory methods with the development of reformatory practice.
