View Of Private Enterprise Development Strategy, With The View Of Contingency Theory

From the beginning of reform and opening policy, private enterprises experienced a rapid growth. They have now become an important part of national economy and played a key role in the economic increase. They have made a great contribution to the social stability and development, the prosperity of economy and the raising of living levels of the people. Because of several limits of the environment and their own conditions, private enterprises confront some problems. The research of developing strategies and management models for private enterprises become an important tasks. In front of so many advanced management theories, managers often feel confused. Sometimes the management methods introduced to enterprise don't function as they were expected, but make some disorders. In the point of view of Contingency Theory, the developing strategies of private enterprises must be made considering external and internal environment factors, and the specialties of the enterprises. The best combination of these factors may produce convenient and efficient strategies and management models to the enterprises. In this article, the establishment and evaluation of Contingency Theory is introduced, and the key points of this theory are summarized. The writer devotes also to develop the Contingency Method to analyze the developing strategies of private enterprises. In the rear part, three important problems, the corporation structure, diversification strategy, and enterprise culture, are analyzed systematically with Contingency method, and useful points are concluded by the writer.
