Sustainable development has become the major melody in our modem world. It exerts great influences on all fields of the economy, and international trade in particular. A lot of environmental problems arise because of the international trade, and different environmental regulations lead to the discrepancy on the comparative advantage. The environmental protection measures have become one of the important methods to restrict the market admittance of the developing countries. WTO/GATT and other international organizations have worked for the harmonious development of trade and environment, but there are still some challenges. There is still a long way to make the environmental policy adapt to the trade regulations, and also the changing trade regulations suit to the environmental policy. The developing countries should defend and strive for the right of existance and development in the outside world, and also should bring forth new ideas in the field of technology, economy system and market within their own countries.
