At This Stage People's Ideological And Political Education Targeting Thinking

Ideological and political education is the cherished heritage of our party and the political advantage of socialist countries, and has played an important role in each period of China's revolution and construction. The masses of people are the creators of the history, so they are also our party's major aim in ideological and political education. Up till now, however, there are weak points in this education. Mainly the aim and effectiveness is not ideal, which is caused by some unreasonable factors in the orientation of this education's goal. Directing against this condition, this paper tries to make a shallow exploration into the orientation of masses' ideological and political education's goal in this phase. And I express some personal opinions.This paper has four parts:The first part introduces the definition of the masses and the connotation of the masses' ideological and political education. At the same time, liking the fact of the masses' ideological status and drawing on the experience of the masses' ideological education in the past, it analyzes the necessity to orient the goal of the masses' ideological and political education.The second part, from the features of the education's aim and goal, and the environmental conditions that the aim is in and other aspects, analyzes the main basis for the orientation of the masses' ideological and political education's goal.The third part, by summarizing our party's three generations of the leading core, their discussion of the masses' ideological and political education's goal, and that by the relevant documents of the CCCPC, orients the goal of the masses' ideological and political education in this phase梩hat is to nurture qualified citizens to fit the socialist market economy and the socialist modernizations. The basic points of the goal include: from the viewpoint of the social development, mainly to form acommon ideal, maintain the social development and stability, coordinate the harmonious relations between human and nature, human and the society and human itself and improve the comprehensive development of human, and from the viewpoint of the development of human, mainly to nurture the youngsters' scientific world outlook, outlook on Me and values, nurture the laborers' good professional morality and nurture people's healthy psychology and improved moral quality.The fourth part, directing against the fact in the present phase and the trends and developmental characters of the goal of the masses' ideological and political education, briefly discusses when orienting, how to well deal with the relations between the near goal and the far one, and between aiming, effectiveness, entirety and systematicness.
