Deng Xiaoping And The Sino-soviet Polemics

During the period of 1956-1966, Sino-Soviet Controversy was a very important event in the history of Sino-Soviet relationship, even in the history of International Politics. Deng Xiaoping, as the standing member of Chinese Communist Party Central Political Bureau and Secretary-general of Chinese Communist Party Central Committee at that time, played a pivotal role in that event. This paper is a brief introduction of the event and points out that Deng Xiaoping deeply influenced the development of that event and was also deeply influenced by the event at the same time .
