Making hybrid rice going to the world market is the utmost long-cherished wish of Yuan Longping, Academician of China Academy of Engineering, while the international strategic development of hybrid ricebecomes one of primary tasks of the listed Company----"Longping Hi-TechCo. Ltd".The developing countries are now confronting with double challenges: development and subsistence, almost half of the population still live under the poverty line. The population within these developing countries is now increasing at average growth rate of 2% annually, and the growing speed will last to the mid of next century. With the rapid increase of population, it is estimated that the demand to the rice in these countries within the next 30 years will be increased by 70%. While lack of cultivated land, working forces and water resource will make these countries face more and more pressure in grains production.Since Chinese agricultural scientists at the core of Academician Yuan Longping first founded and developed hybrid rice in 1976, hybrid rice has been rapidly popularized and grown at large acreage, made brilliant contribution to China to solve the grain problem. From 1976 to 1997, hybrid rice has made remarkable achievements, the growing area of hybrid rice had accumulated to 3,200 million mu, the output of rice accumulated to 32 billion kg. With the success of hybrid rice in China, all countries in the world, especially the Asian countries, who have many common or similar characteristics with China in culture, food, civilization and geography, have put in extreme concern and enthusiasm for the development and popularization of hybrid rice in their own countries.The thesis attempts to stand on the high position of "Longping Hi-tech" to analyze the international market space of hybrid rice in order to choose the proper target market, combining the international sales theory with mypersonal practical experience for years, attempts to formulate various market access modes and 4P sales compound strategy according to different situation in different countries, also tries to analyze the obstacle factors of market development of hybrid rice technology towards southeast market and put forward some corresponding countermeasures.
