China is a big country that has numerous rural populations. For this reason, it has become an important social problem- to solve farmer's pension security. The thesis discusses this problem, which main contents can be found in the following:Part one analyzes the significance of setting up the rural pension security system as soon as possible.Part two firstly looks back the reformation of rural pension security system, then analyzes the limitations of the reformation project , which haven't been in line with the basic essence of the modern social security system.Part three gives suggestion that it is normal for the rural pension security system to 'show the disparities among the different areas due to the real discrepancies of the economic development levels.Part four brings forward the suggestions on the realistic select of the rural pension security system, namely "the home care and the individual's self-security play the main role, extruding individual responsibility, and the state sets up the lowest living security system as well as providing manifold social sustain measures ."The government's pivotal responsibility is to set up the rustic lowest living security system as soon as possible.The main problem affecting the home care is to establish the circulation surroundings of family providing for the aged.With regard to individual responsibility, the penman thinks thai farmer should buy commerce life insurance to gain pension security.
