On The Impact Of Economic Globalization On The Rural Population, Urbanization In China

How to advance the urbanization of the eight hundred million farmers is the big question which relates to our country stabilization and modernization construction. At the turning of the new century, the CUPC with Jiang Zemin as the core made the strategic decision of urbanization timely. This indicates the strategic adjustment of Chinese urban-rural structure. Now the trend of economic globalization intensifies. We must enhance peasant urbanization at the background of the globalization. This article studies the influence of economic globalization on urbanization and the basic thought about advancing urbanization at the background of economic globalization.The first section reviews the tortuous progress about urbanization, and then explains the present questions in the course.
