The thesis gives a brief introduction to the very basic concepts of enterprise cultures first, and shows the general ways of how enterprise cultures come into being, especially, how enterprise cultures have affected the managerial achievement. In the core of enterprise cultures, the idea of paying close attention to customers, shareholders and staff members is the key to keeping increase in the managerial achievement. And the thesis points out that compared with the rapid development in many foreign enterprises, home businesses are quite lacking in study of enterprise cultures.The 2nd chapter mainly gives a comprehensive representation of ZTE's cultures, the three essential features of ZTE's cultures are: 1. The conceptions and philosophies are well understood and accepted by the staff members for they are not borrowed but brought about in practice and cooperation. 2. ZTE's leader plays a very important part in the study and promotion of enterprise cultures. The most fundamental feature is to be solid and down-to-earth. Then the chapter shows in details the current situation of ZTE's culture building.Combing with the theories of enterprise cultures, the thesis makes a detailed analysis of the factors affecting ZTE's enterprise cultures in four aspects. The first is the effect, which the organization of the corporation has on its cultures. The second is ZTE is a government-owned and people-run enterprise. The "government-owned and people -run" pattern is one of ZTE's most successful aspects. However, such way of management leads to deep-laying problems as well in the enterprise cultures. The third factor is the relationship between the conceptions of leadership and of individuals. Lastly is the relationship between the philosophies of ZTE and its greatly increasing managerial achievement. Since 1995, when ZTE set about building its enterprise culture in a big way, the corporation has achieved a lot and made its economic profit and cultural conceptions advance side by side.The thesis shows the defects of ZTE's culture in seven aspects:1. The dimensions of ZTE's enterprise culture project are in sufficient.2. The cultural plan based on the four lines of words falls short of the specification and systematization.3. Backward in basic management.4. ZTE cultures bear the signs of " entrepreneur cultures ".5. ZTE does not have sufficient deep researches into technologies.6. The management of manpower in ZTE is inadequate.7. ZTE has not set a fixed direction for its culture construction.A key point in the last chapter is the view that it is unnecessary to reconstruct the enterprise cultures, but certain changes are indispensable. At the moment, ZTE cultures are basically in a favorable state and have done much good to the business. But the seeable defects show the necessity for changes. In the last place, the thesis puts forward in five aspects the suggestions for improvement of ZTE.1. Take warning from the sign of morbid state and woke out a proper plan for changes.2. Be somewhat avant-garde and see far and wide in the reform. The philosophies of an enterprise should not be changed every year. Looking far ahead and aiming high are important in the case.3. The shareholders must be taken into account.4. Attach importance to information and networks.5. China's acceding to the WTO is a factor that must be regarded as well.
