Competitiveness Of China's Container Shipping Companies

We all know that when our country opened to outside and entered into WTO, our shipping market also opened to outside gradually. What's more, foreign famous shipping enterprises rushed into our shipping market in succession and carve up our shipping market, which caused our shipping enterprises, especial container shipping line faced cruel challenge and severely competition. All of these explained that if we want to effectively share world shipping and trading resources and also void the strike, which caused by shipping freedom during increasingly opening and freedom shipping situation. The only way is that enhancing the competition of our shipping enterprises.My thesis originally is one of the important study items of the ministry of communications of my country. And as a member of the investigation and research group, I joined into discussion and modification again and again and many times consulted and asked for advice from specialists. I also went to domestic and foreign known shipping enterprises, especially container shipping line and forwarding corporations many times to investigate and sent a lot of questionarys, then callback these questionarys and attained many valuable and first-hand data. I also applied AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation method. Fairly scientific and reasonable evaluated competition ability of domestic and foreign shipping enterprises. On basis of the above investigation and research data and macroscopically situation of domestic and foreign shipping, and analyzing market control ability, management ability, continue development ability and extension industry sustain ability, and aiming at the problem of our domestic shipping enterprises and how to settle the weakness of our domestic shipping corporation. My thesis accordingly brings forward improvement measurements.The significance of my thesis is that enhancing the competition ability and status of our shipping enterprises, especially I wish that my thesis can point outone good way for our shipping corporations and container shipping line.But, we all know that enhancing competition ability of our shipping corporation could not carry out in one day, which need many other department of our country to cooperate, sustain and policy hold. Further more, among our reality, there are many other factors, which we could not take into account due to the limit of time. So that anyone rely on my thesis to enhance competition ability of our shipping enterprises is unrealistic and impossible.
