Now the 21st century already silently stands in front of us. An era,in which the opportunities and the challenges coexist,selects the superior;eliminates the inferior;and allows the survival of the fittest. The contention of the funds,technologies,markets,and raw materials for each enterprise is further fiercer too. What we can say is that the competition will become the theme of new century,but the focus of the competition concentrates on "people". There is a famous saying from Matsushita Komosuke:The best assets of an enterprise are the "people". And also Carnegie has said:"My enterprise had been burnt,but keeping people here I will be still the king of steel in 20 years." It is true for modern enterprise that people are the most valuable resources. The enterprise can just be invincible only when it has done a good job of "people". In modem market economy,the management of salary is an important respect of manpower- resource-management. The enterprise itself must solve the problems how to recompense those laborers for their contributions objectively,justly,fairly and rationally;thus it will be either favorable to the development of enterprise,or can guarantee the employees' satisfaction from their salaries economically and psychologically. Having done the salary management well,the enterprise lays a foundation on doing a good job of "people".The research of the management of the salaries has not only certain academic value but also important realistic meanings. This text analyses the current situations and problems on the salary management of Chinese enterprise;studies and draws lessons systematically from the domestic and international theories and methods about the salary management;explains and analyses the culture,the general management situations and relevant enterprises' advanced salary management methods in the researching enterprise' country;compares this country's management system with those in America,Korea and other developed countries;and analyses the researching enterprises' background and current situations of salary management,By using relevant theories,manpower-resource-management,organizing behaviouristicspsychcholoics,ecmomics,operationreserch,statistics,management... ect,this text combines the reality to set up Japanese employee's salary administrative system on the Japan branch of China Northwest Airlines. This text also sets up four major salary systems:basic wages,rewarding wages (the prize),additional wages and the welfare;defines the dynamic salary standard;and fulfills the quantization,totalization,electronic data processing and benefiting from the salary management. This salary administractive system arouses the Japanese employee's enthusiasm,and the management within the enterprise goes on a begin-cycle track.
