Facing the serious worldwide competition as the result of technological development, enterprises can't use resources unlimitedly. Therefore, good recourses plan is very helpful for enterprises to enhance their competitiveness. ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is just such a kind of recourses plan management system. All the business information can be tightly administrated by this system in order to improve the activity processes, productive performance, and even the competitive advantage.Until now, securities companies in China are becoming larger and more important, but they are also facing the unprecedented fierce competition by foreign investment banks. In order to cope with this situation, securities companies in China begin to use ERP to enhance their competitive ability. In recent years, some Chinese researchers are busy researching on the factors and inputting methods of ERP, but there are few on performance evaluation of inputting ERP. Though ERP has been widely used hi manufacturing companies, new attempts are needed in big, grouped securities companies. ERP has many merits that cannot be calculated after entering into the financial businesses. Up to today, studies have not yet proved above-mentioned merits. This paper classifies the business performance after inputting ERP as financial performance, visible operational performance and invisible performance. Related materials, while the latter one cannot only be calculated by humans, can calculate the former two. This paper takes GuangFa Securities Company as an example and uses financial performance indexes, operational performance indexes and questionnaire surveys to make out both reachable and unreachable performance after inputting ERP. This paper uses different methods to calculate the financial performance, visible operational performance and invisible operational performance. Therefore, this paper establishes a complete set of performance evaluation indexes system, overcomes the shortcoming of the singularity of financial performance evaluation indexes, makes an all-round evaluation of enterprises' performance, and possesses some theoretical and practical meanings.
