Corporate Marginal And Core Competitiveness

The article's point is that the key to solve problem is to recognize the thing's essence. The Firm Compentence Theory argue that firm's essence is a collective of capability, the unit to analyse the firm is capability. Therefore, this dissertation choose to study the firm from the angle of capability's view.Under the great environment that China become one of the country of WTO, following the globalizing trend, firm, above all, Chinese firms have an obvious gap of competence to foreign firm, so they must have the Core Competence. This writings starts its study from the notion of margin which origin from the event: Marginal Revolution, extend the following argument that combining the margin with the factor of management, and with the firm's goal leading, and the Finn Competence Theory being foundation, reach that the content, the principle and the target of the marginal management.Because the firm is a collective of capability in essence, it must aim at being the biggest collective of capability or value, which resulting from that economy concentrate on the value in essence. The option of theory about firm's goal set the objective and the content of the firm Marginal Management: to form or achieve the Core Competence of firm. The core competence is the strategic capability which would solve problem procedurally and it is to form by accumulating. The marginal management process is the process of that firms push the non-procedural side transforming into the procedural side and conduct gathering of procedural side continually. By marginal management, and by accumulating of inventment, it can form and improve the core competence. All of above is the most effective way to achieve the core competence.The analyzing of the process to reach the Core Competence of firm contribute to development and management of the Core Competence. In addition, the key to solve Chinese civil firm problem is the Core Competence.This dissertation has its writing background and the foundation of theory, even has the origin of notion. It can dispose of most of problems of Chinese firm.
