Chinese Aerospace Project Management Research

With the sustainable reform of our country, the management system, working manner as well as the organizational structure of the Aerospace Model Engineering (launch vehicle, satellite, spaceship, and missile) management of China's aerospace industry formed under the planned economy system can't meet the requirements of the development of national defense and national economic construction. Therefore, under such circumstances, the paper tries to analyze how to increase the Aerospace Model Engineering management level by adopting the way of project management.Firstly, the paper reviews the characteristics, environment, current status and existing problems of the Aerospace Model Engineering management of China's aerospace industry, points out that the problem could only be resolved by adopting advanced management system. The paper analyzes and compares the concept, process and knowledgeable system of Systems Engineering of China's aerospace industry and modern project management, pointing out the obstacle of the current management system must be overcome. Meanwhile the paper suggests that much attention should be paid to some aspects. Based on the situation mentioned above, from the project management point of view, the paper analyzes and compares the differences between the Aerospace Model Engineering management and project management in the fields of organizational structure and personnel. It also analyzes the methods adopted by foreign aerospace companies. The paper points out that the current management system of China's aerospace industry has disadvantages and suggests the improvements should be made out.Then the paper analyzes and compares the detailed actions in planning and scheduling of the Aerospace Model Engineering management and project management, pointing out the problems should be solved and suggests the measures should be taken. The paper also introduced the relevant project management software, marked where needs to be pay more attention during the application.
