With the rapid development of Chinese economy and accessing into WTO, domestic 3PL is popularly thought a good future. In the developed countries, logistics industry has turned into a combination of material, information and capital flow from pure delivery. With arrival of the Internet age, the traditional logistics system is facing new challenges. E-Commerce requires logistics system handle more matters with less quantity per transaction, and it also requires the system handle them in a very quick and efficient way. How to transform the traditional delivery to meet the needs in the new epoch is a revolutionary problem which the whole logistics industry in the world is facing. China Post, as traditional logistics enterprise, possesses a comprehensive network, whose advantages are incomparable. The development of China Postal logistics has a serious influence on coming into the market of China Post, and it will become the valuable experience of exploring the developing area, searching new increasing industry and keeping sustainable development. This thesis is composed of four chapters, annotations and reference literatures and it analyzes the developing strategy of the China Postal Logistics Company in the Internet age. Firstly, it introduces the background of the thesis and the current developing situation of China Postal Logistics. It makes detailed analysis of China postal logistics development basing on the policies and experiences of developed countries. After 20 years of construction, Chinese logistics has made great accomplishments. Infrastructure of logistics has become more and more sound. China government has increased the investment of road, railway, port and aerodrome, so as to create better basic conditions of logistics development. Secondly, the quantity of logistics enterprises and employees has augmented sharply.Generally speaking, Chinese logistics is still at the primary stage and there is a big gap compared with the developed countries. The first one is higher cost and the second one is lower efficiency. But China Post, possessing two nets and three flows, has been regarded playing very important role in this area. China Postal Logistics Corporation has come into existence, after years of effort, it has possessed transportation and technology capacities, and moreover, it has accumulated many experiences. On the basis of analysis of marketing positioning and delivering capacity of Chinese Postal Logistics, it makes deep researches of the competitive environment of China Postal Logistics development by studying Chinese law, Chinese policy, operating mode and methods of customer relations analysis, SWOT, Potter's five competitive factors. After accessing into WTO, China will open some important areas within several years. In logistics area, we promised to cancel the confining of dividend in all of the service industries after reasonable transitional phase and we would not restrict foreign services providers to enter into the current Chinese market and we would not restrict market admittance and activities of all of service industries. Chinese market just likes a virgin which never been explored, so many enterprises including domestic enterprises and foreign enterprises have poured into China to scrabble for market. Chinese logistics enterprises are facing fierce competition now. Thirdly, it analyzes the strengths and weaknesses of Chinese Postal Logistics and makes out target markets to enhance core competence. China Post, as a provider of 3PL, can provide logistics service for any of customers in domestic area on the basis of special combination of transportation net, information net and finance net. It possesses the famous brand, better credit, and abundant B2C service experiences and integrate operating systems, which have create Chinese Postal core competence.
