Background and purposeBackground: with the rapid growth of modern enterprise management theories and tools, many companies have been driving to its higher productivity. Training, as one of management tools, is playing more and more important role in management. Many well-performed companies in various fields are keeping in better their training function by input more resource and employ new training theories. Even some company separate Training from HR to make it independent for its own business. At the same time, it also becomes a relatively independent field of management for research and development.Purpose: This dissertation is intended to explore the application of modern training theory through the weaknesses and strengths analysis of a multinational high-tech company. It also can be used as a reference for the reformation of native company.Basic research philosophy:This dissertation is based on modern training theory and experience, combining theories and its implementation, during the overall analysis of training system in M company. On the basis of the analysis comes out the improvement advices.Structure and Main ContentThis dissertation is consists of 4 chapters, its structure and main idea are in blow.Chapter 1. This chapter introduces some theories and orientation of Training. Main content: 1. Training introduction. 2. The relationship of training and competitive challenge to which modern companies are facing. 3. The common pattern of training department in a company. Chapter 2. This chapter introduces the operation of M company and its training system and emphasizes on analysis of training problem in M company. Main content: 1. Product feature, company strategy and objectives, market feature. 2. The operation problem of M company. 3. Introduce the overall operation of training. 4. analyze the weakness of training function.Chapter 3. This chapter gives detailed solutions for training function in M company. Main content: Establish training analysis that is the basis of all training activities; enhance the abilities of training course development and implementation; strengthen the training evaluation for continuous improvement.Chapter 4. This chapter proposes several advices based on the previous chapters. Main content: 1. Establish top management concerns. 2. Set up comprehensive training business function. 3. Integrate training function. 4. Establish organic combination of training management and HRM. 5.Balence business and non-business oriented training. 6. Optimize the input for training.
