Credit operation is a primary business in a commercial bank and the credit assets are the most important asset in a commercial bank .So how to control the credit risk is the most important work for the bank, especially for the state-owned commercial bank .In this background, this thesis first analyses the credit operation which ABC (Agriculture Bank of China) offered to A company, then I find out the problems in credit operation and the credit management. Finally, I put forward some advice to resolve these problems. My purpose is to figure out how the state-owned commercial banks enforce the credit management to control the credit risk and perfect their service based on client, so they can survive and develop in the severely competition. The whole thesis is divided into two parts .the primary contents of the thesis are briefly clarified as follows:Part one is the case study .It introduces the background of the ABC providing a loan to the A company and presents the process that ABC deals with the fair. The process includes the investigation to the loaner ,the evaluation of the loan project and the risk and the earning of the loan .Part two is the problem and the measures advised. There are three problems in the credit operation and management. The first one is the credit evaluation system of ABC is not so efficient .The second is the management of the loan after offered is not efficient. The third is the communication with the client that is not efficient and makes the client lack the loyalty. To solve the problem, I put forward corresponding methods: establishing the efficient credit evaluation system, enhance the management after the loan offering, providing tailor-made service to the client to cultivating loyal client to acquire superiority.
