The North Tian Shan is the general name of all the cities & tpwns which are located in the south of zhun-ge-er basin, east from URMQI; west to WUSU, belongs to Euro-Asia Bridge and along with No 312 National Road. The North Tian Shan not only have good economic basic, rich resource, intensive colleges & institutes, but also have prior geographic placement and convenience traffic facility, URMQI, the capital of Xinjiang has the full infrastructure, mean while the system of large-middle-small city is under construction. But some problems are still existing such as block-division, regional restriction, lack of unity layout and plan, ignoring continued development and some cities are too small, as well as lack of industrial support. Realizing the continued development by changing the old way of produce and life is becoming the main task of urbanization The urbanization must orient the theory of continued development at the same time benefit social economic as well as resource & environment, avoiding nearsighted trend of urbanization by distorting environment and resource. The urbanization of the North Tian Shan must have a regional urban development plan so as to establish a coordinated development new system to realize it. The urbanization of the North Tian shan aims to intensive urban development model. The propose of intensive urbanization model states that the developing area's urban development should obey the way to save energy, protect environment and plant-land, instead of following the developed area's higherconsumption of resource model.Regional urbanization must strictly comply with the policy of unity, complexity, advantage and continued development. The North Tian shan chose intensive urbanization model, not only can strengthen the urban intensive benefit, but also can improve people quality as well as environment protection, reduce the energy consume.The bigger or big city's economic is play the key role of the whole regionaleconomic development, which is the original requirement to improve region urbanization's quality and level. Insist on continued development and obeying incentive urbanization, URMQI, the center city of North TianShan, should be the emphasis.
