The Development Of China's Logistics Industry Countermeasures

With the development of science and technology, modern logistics is proved to be the third profit source except for lowering material wastage and raising labor productivity, and to play a very important role in the development of national economy. So we should develop logistics industry rapidly in China.Logistics industry is a system engineering, it involves many trades and departments. When we use the experience of some developed countries for reference, we can learn that the development of logistics industry in any period needs the support of policies and measures, especially during the initial stage. The thesis just tries to put forward some countermeasures for logistics industry of China.The thesis includes four chapters. Chapter One elaborates the theory of logistics and modern logistics including the origins, conception, characteristics and the trend. Chapter Two mainly analyzes the challenges and chances that logistics industry of China will meet. Using input-output table quantitatively analyzes the significance of logistics industry. The analysis shows it has great developmental potentialities, and can greatly promote the secondary and tertiary industries, and the industry should be developed with initiative way. Chapter Three discusses the present situation of logistics industry of China including the advantages and disadvantages. Chapter Four introduces the experience of some developed countries such as Japan, Europe, The United States, and on this base puts forward the countermeasures of our government.In sum, the main focus of the thesis is the policy of the logistics industry of China.The thesis emphasizes the importance of government and mainly puts forward policy from the standpoint of government.There are two characteristics in the thesis. On the one hand, to give a theory support the thesis takes an approach of system analysis. On the other hand, the input-output analysis is used to quantitatively analyze the necessity of developing the logistics industry in our country.
