Empirical Analysis Of The Traditional Industries, The Development Of The Evolving Role Of China's New Industrialization

The paper studies the effect of the traditional industry on the new type of industrialization (NTI) by the method of qualitative and quantitative demonstration analysis, in depth expounds the important role and mechanism of the traditional industry plays in and promotes NTI, as well as the supporting function of the traditional industry on the successful evolvement of industrialization, and concludes that the traditional industry should be emphasized in the process of NTI. The paper provides the theoretical references and practical suggestions for the enterprises to make investment decisions and behavior choices, and for the government to constitute regulations and adjust polices in the process of NTI. The paper is composed of four chapters. In the first chapter, it reveals the rule and mechanism of the industrialization in the traditional industrialization theory and the industrialization structure theory. In the second chapter, it analyzes the opportunities and challenges China's industrialization confronts currently and gets the result that China should adopt the new type way of industrialization adapting to the international environment and suit to the situation of China; then, in contrast to the traditional type of industrialization experienced by China, it clarifies further the necessity, meaning and character of the new type way of industrialization. In the third chapter, it makes a specific definition on the traditional industry to be studied and reveals its meaning, summarizes the necessities of the traditional industry in NTI and makes the demonstration analysis from the following four aspects: upgrade of traditional industry is essentially that of industry, the linkage effect of traditional industry, supporting function of traditional industry on high tech industry and its efficient solution to the problem of employment. Then, it gives the conclusion that traditional industry plays an important role in the process of new type way of industrialization. In the last chapter, as far as the problems in current traditional industry of China were concerned, it offers the proper and practical suggestions, with reference to the process of the new type way of industrialization.
